The Mid-States CJ-DATS Center is a partnership among the Center for Drug and Alcohol Studies (CDAS) in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at the University of Delaware, the Delaware Department of Corrections, and the New Jersey Department of Corrections. Community provider partners include Brandywine Counseling, Inc. and Christiana Care Health Services in Wilmington, DE. Research staff is located at CDAS on the campus of the University of Delaware in Newark, DE. CDAS has offices in Coral Gables, FL and research sites in Wilmington, DE, Miami, FL and Brazil. Besides CJ-DATS2, CDAS is involved in a number of studies of high risk drug users, surveillance of prescription drug abuse, surveillance of youth risk behaviors, and program evaluation.
