The Friends Research Institute Maryland Research Center is collaborating with the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. Over the past ten years, this partnership has contributed to the development and implementation of innovative studies involving the provision of various medication-assisted treatments (LAAM, methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone) delivered to criminal justice populations (prisoners, parolees, and probationers).
